The water is among the clearest in the country. And the sand, coral and white, does not heat up the way other Caribbean sands do.
It is also one of the most photographed beaches in the Dominican Republic, which says something about how it looks in person.

Beach clubs have grown up around Juanillo, and that is where the social life of Cap Cana happens: a long breakfast, an afternoon in the water, sunset.
For those who own property here, the beach is not a one-time outing. It is the back yard.

In Cap Cana, the distance to Juanillo is one of the variables that moves a residence's value the most.
Being three minutes away by golf cart is not the same as twenty. In practice, the first uses the beach every day; the second, once a week.
